Job Summary:
The Sports Medicine Clinic Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing expert athletic training services to patients at our sports medicine clinic. The incumbent will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and prevent athletic injuries and promote overall health and well-being of athletes. The Athletic Trainer will primarily focus on assessing and rehabilitating injuries, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating athletes on injury prevention techniques.

Responsibilities:
1. Assess and diagnose athletic injuries by conducting thorough evaluations and utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each athlete, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
3. Administer appropriate therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescription, to facilitate recovery and maximize performance.
4. Monitor and track athletes' progress throughout the rehabilitation process, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
5. Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, proper conditioning techniques, and safe training practices, with a focus on promoting long-term athletic development.
6. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including injury evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
8. Provide immediate emergency care and first aid to athletes in the event of acute injuries or medical emergencies.
9. Stay informed about the latest advancements in sports medicine and athletic training techniques by attending professional development activities and participating in continuing education opportunities.
10. Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards of practice, including maintaining appropriate licensure and certifications.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
3. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
4. Minimum of [X] years of experience working as an Athletic Trainer in a sports medicine clinic or similar setting.
